Yachtmaster Coastal – I did it!

After 8 weeks on and off through the summer with Girls For Sail, I achieved my Yachtmaster Coastal qualification. A massive achievement that took me way outside my comfort zone. I have been home for a couple of weeks now and still feel that I am recovering. Physically demanding and mentally challenging – being a Skipper is harder than it looks! I had some truly magical moments and some serious melt downs but have come through it and am keen to make sure I maintain the skill level I have – 2 captains in our house now! Here is one of the magical moments – stunning sunset in Lymmington on our Yachtmaster preparation week. IMG_2610
