La Paz, Bolivia
So lovely to have all your comments – I look forward to seeing them each morning – thank you!
We arrived in La Paz after a 4 hour bone shaking overland trip from Lake Titicaca – a land of real contrasts. Magnificent mountain views, abject squalor, stunning architecture, manic traffic, tourist areas segregated from normal life … what an experience. Starting looking south toward the bottom of La Paz from the valley of the moon (3200m)
Still looking south but from the ‘mid level’ at 3400m
Stunning colonial architecture in amongst the ‘modern’ La Paz …
…. and yet more of the Spanish influence
I know this is a big blog, but have to capture a Bolivian lady …
Great photos, hon! xx
doesnt look like you have had a dud day. So reminds me of Ecuador. Have you enjoyed the food? How is the leg holding up?
Food is excellent – will come back size of house! Hadn’t expected such variety and deliciousness! Leg holding up – Fran hugely patient and protecting my best interests!
Your pictures are amazing. Looks like a most incredible experience. X
