Happy New Year!

I can’t quite believe that I have made it through to 2009. I was lucky enough to meet up with a friend from London (Mary McVey) and together with my good friend Janice, we started celebrating at 4pm in San Francisco – midnight in the UK – toasting absent friends.
I do hope that you were able to start 2009 in the way that you would like the year to continue. Aside from feeling a little fragile from dancing half the night to a great blues band, walking the Golden Gate Bridge (I have seen it from every possible angle!) was a good start for me. Hard for every other day this year to stack up to this standard but I will give it my best shot! Talking of which, I need to do some serious editing of photos. Have a great start to the year – looking forward to catching up with you sometime soon!
